My favorite sense is seeing, because I couldn’t play sports if I couldn’t see. Sure I wouldn’t taste my favorite food, couldn’t smell cologne, couldn’t listen to Lil Wayne, or feel a hug, but my life would stink if I couldn’t see. First of all, baseball is my life. Without seeing, I wouldn’t be able to play baseball. Seeing can still in a way give you all your senses. You can learn to read lips, see if someone’s hitting you, think about if a food looks good, and if you see something like a dog going to the restroom, you can automatically tell it’s going to smell bad. It makes meh life better because I can still do my favorite things. I can play video games, play baseball, and if I can’t hear what I’m saying, I can write down what I’m feeling.
My life would be terrible without seeing, because I couldn’t see where I was going, I couldn’t play sports and I couldn’t see pictures. I don’t know about y’all but I don’t want to run face first into a wall. This whole story is about how much my life would stink without seeing, and how much I love to see. I don’t know what I would do if the lord took away my seeing ability.
My dad is my hero. He pays for all of my hitting and pitching lessons, and helps me practice playing baseball. I love my dad and I know that some people aren’t lucky enough to have dads like mine and I am writing this to show how cool my father is.
When my father was young his parents got a divorce and he and my mom has promised me they would never leave each other no matter how much they fight. That shows how much they love us and don’t want us to have to choose which parent we want to live with. My dad is always there for me and loves me very much.
When I am down, frustrated with homework, or am fighting with my brother my dad always helps me work out my problems. He is very nice to me, but sometimes he does get mad. If I am bored my dad will play Xbox with me. He always wants my brother and I to be happy and never wants us to go through tough times even though they never last but he always says he will talk to me, and help me with whatever I have a problem with.
With sports my dad always wants me to try my best and never give up. My dad is always talking to me about what I need to do to get better. He also will take me to the baseball fields to practice as long as I have finished my homework. He records some of my hitting lessons so he can show me what I do wrong.
My dad is my hero because he has been working very hard to help me follow my dreams and be drafted to play in the MLB.
Eyes of the Prey
I hear leaves crunching,
Sticks breaking,
I’m sprinting across the Forest looking for somewhere to hide,
I stop behind a tall green patch of grass,
Thinking I’m safe,
I wonder around looking for food,

I thought as the hunter spotted me,
I froze like a deer in Headlights,

I am a deer,
And this isn’t the time to freeze,
I put my antlers down and charged,

I thought as…BANG.

My spring break was pretty much filled with my brother and I’s friends. What I mean by that is we had someone over or we were at someone’s house every day. But in case you didn’t know that I love baseball and play it almost every day my spring break had a whole lot of baseball practice and three of my brothers baseball games. And we also went fishing every day at the pond around the corner of my house and caught tons of fish. Literally. My brother (Taylor) caught 33 fish by himself. So as you can see my spring break was awesome.

Baseball is my favorite sport. I love the sound of the bat when I make complete contact and drive the ball. When I make a great play at catcher (my position) it feels so amazing, and makes me feel like no one can take away my pride. When a new season of baseball starts I get so exited. My favorite thing in baseball is the feeling of the bat when I hit a home run and the way I feel after I hit it.
