I hear leaves crunching,
Sticks breaking,
I’m sprinting across the Forest looking for somewhere to hide,
I stop behind a tall green patch of grass,
Thinking I’m safe,
I wonder around looking for food,
Oh No,
I thought as the hunter spotted me,
I froze like a deer in Headlights,
Wait,
I am a deer,
And this isn’t the time to freeze,
I put my antlers down and charged,
Uh Oh,
I thought as…BANG.

My spring break was pretty much filled with my brother and I’s friends. What I mean by that is we had someone over or we were at someone’s house every day. But in case you didn’t know that I love baseball and play it almost every day my spring break had a whole lot of baseball practice and three of my brothers baseball games. And we also went fishing every day at the pond around the corner of my house and caught tons of fish. Literally. My brother (Taylor) caught 33 fish by himself. So as you can see my spring break was awesome.

Baseball is my favorite sport. I love the sound of the bat when I make complete contact and drive the ball. When I make a great play at catcher (my position) it feels so amazing, and makes me feel like no one can take away my pride. When a new season of baseball starts I get so exited. My favorite thing in baseball is the feeling of the bat when I hit a home run and the way I feel after I hit it.
This year I have 3 New Year’s resolutions that I would like to share. They are . . . I would like to stay healthy by exersising more, I want to make all stars again by practicing, and last but not least I want to be nicer to my brother by not hitting him as much.
This year(2012) my resolution is to work out and practice more in baseball. And when I do I might could hit more home runs than last year. And if that happens may be I will be the Babe Ruth of the league.
